Frequently Asked Questions
How do we run a multi-family playdate at a fall festival in Brighton without chaos?
Set one meeting spot at the entrance and a hard arrival window, since staggered arrivals kill the first hour. Assign each adult a kid headcount, not a vibe, and rotate a designated bag-watcher at the picnic base. Matching bright hats beat matching costumes for spotting kids in a crowd. Agree on the leave time out loud before anyone buys a wristband.
What's the restroom situation at farms and outdoor events near Brighton?
Assume porta-potties, plan accordingly: go before leaving home, carry your own wipes and sanitizer, and do a preemptive stop before the hayride or maze, which trap you for 30-plus minutes. Locate the restrooms on the farm map at arrival, not mid-crisis. For potty-training kids, a car-trunk travel seat is the veteran move on big farm days.
How do we tell if a Halloween event in Brighton is genuinely not-so-scary for young kids?
Look for daytime hours, words like "lights-on," "boo-tacular," or "little goblins," and photos showing costumed staff without masks. Red flags: chainsaws in the trailer video, teen-focused marketing, or a shared site with a nighttime haunt where sets stay visible. Reviews from parents mentioning specific ages are gold. When unsure, email and ask whether characters jump-scare or just wave.
