- Parking: Free parking is available in the Museum lot. Please note that parking is limited, so we recommend planning ahead. Carpooling, ride-sharing, or public transit are also recommended. Parking is available in the Burnaby Village Parking Lot, City Hall Parking Lot or Deer Lake Beach.
- Accessibility: Nearly every facility at the Museum is wheelchair accessible and stroller friendly. A paved pathway connects buildings on the historic grounds, and benches are located throughout the site. A wheelchair is available on loan from the Orientation Plaza.
- Pets: Pets, with the exception of service animals, are not permitted within the site.

- Consider purchasing tickets in advance online to secure your spot, as limited tickets may be available at the gate.
- Dress for the weather as the event runs rain or shine, and bring comfortable shoes for exploring the 10-acre site.

Is Haunted Village too scary for small children?
Enjoy a spooky (not scary) evening at Haunted Village. While there will be a Halloween theme, the displays are designed to be family friendly. Certain areas of site will feature skeletons, jack-o-lanterns, large spiders and costumed mannequins depicting different literary scenes—nothing overtly gruesome or frightening. There is a small graveyard set up, but there aren’t any scenes with blood, guts or gore.
Can I wear a costume?
Yes, costumes are encouraged!
Is the event cancelled if it rains?
Event runs rain or shine. Dress for the weather.
Is food available?
Halloween themed food will be available for purchase at Mai’s Cafe. The cafe closes at 8:30 pm.
Are dogs/other pets allowed?
