Behind the Screams
Visitors take an hour-long, lights-on walking tour through the sets, props, and animatronics of the haunted house led by the artists who built it. The route covers Cell Block C, Unit 15, the Institute, the makeup and costume shop, and the prison's historic 1862 sandstone cellblocks. Guests get an up-close look at how scares are timed and special effects are staged, with full permission to take photos and ask questions.
