Pay and display on-street car parking available on Blair Street, approximately 10 spaces. Ticket machine on Blair Street near the Mercat Tours office.
Accessibility
Essential carers are welcome as guests, free of charge. Tour guides have successfully led wheelchair users on the 'Secrets of the Royal Mile' tour. Other public tours are not suitable for people with per-ambulatory difficulties due to the Underground Vaults accessed by stairs and uneven flooring. A hearing loop and short written synopses are available for those with hearing difficulties. Guides have worked well alongside BSL interpreters. Those with visual needs would need to be accompanied.
Pet Policy
Registered guide dogs for the blind, hearing dogs, and medical detection dogs are welcome. Proof of registration required. Not suitable for emotional support animals.
