Match events to their natural weekend: farms and festivals shine in the calm first half of October, haunted attractions and big parties peak the final two weekends, and Día de los Muertos events land October 31 through November 2. Book anything sellable, tours, shows, timed tickets, in September. One anchor event per weekend beats cramming three into the last Saturday.
