Participants dress up in undead attire, horror costumes, or victim gear and take part in zombie costume contests. Following an opening group photo, the zombie horde shuffles through the city streets toward the steps of the Capitol for a massive photo shoot. Attendees can also drop off non-perishable food items or monetary donations to help fight hunger insecurity.
