Three people, two adults and one child, are gathered around a collection of pumpkins on a farm during autumn. The person on the left, wearing a white hood and gloves, holds a pumpkin. The child in the middle, wearing a red hat, holds a small pumpkin. The person on the right, wearing a blue jacket and a beanie, also holds a pumpkin. Several other pumpkins are scattered around them, including a carved jack-o'-lantern. In the background, there are farm buildings, a red truck, and trees with fall foliage, suggesting a festive harvest atmosphere.

Practical Information

Parking

All parking at Kent Life is FREE. There is an allocated disabled car park near to the entrance, as well as a reserved coach and exclusive wedding guests’ parking area. On busy days overflow paddocks are opened for additional parking (subject to weather conditions). The car park has limited lighting and pedestrian fencing at the heavier traffic areas, but please be aware that the ground can be uneven. The car park can occasionally hit capacity, so arriving at opening time, or later in the day, after lunch is recommended.

Accessibility

Most buildings have wheelchair access, with the exception of the first floors of historic buildings. Interpretation books are available on the ground floor of each period home. Fully accessible toilets are located at four locations. A dedicated car parking area is near the entrance. Carers accompanying disabled visitors are admitted free of charge. The land train and tractor can be adapted for wheelchairs. The site is on a gradual slope.

Quick Actions

Tips & Advice

  • Book tickets online in advance, especially for weekends and school holidays, as on-the-door tickets are not guaranteed.
  • Arrive early or later in the day if driving, as the car park can reach capacity, particularly after periods of bad weather.
  • Check the daily itinerary for specific times of shows, animal meet-and-greets, and trick-or-treating to maximize your visit.
  • Consider bringing wellington boots if the weather is iffy, as the site can get muddy.
  • While most of the site is accessible, be aware of the gradual slope and plan your route accordingly, especially if using a wheelchair or stroller.
