Frequently Asked Questions
When is brush picked up?
Brush pickup occurs the 4th Monday of the month from April through September, and the 2nd Monday in October. Brush must be curbside, stacked neatly, and not obstruct sidewalks or roadways. Only brush less than 6 inches in diameter and 10 feet long will be collected.
Is outdoor burning allowed?
Outdoor burning of yard waste is not permitted in the Village. Recreational fires are allowed in a 36-inch diameter campfire pit, provided it is at least 20 feet from all property lines and structures.

When I rake leaves in the late fall, where can I put them?
The Village picks up leaves placed at the edge of the street from the second week in October through the first snowfall. A notice will be published to confirm the exact dates.
Can I park recreational vehicles in my front yard?
Recreational vehicles, boats, and trailers cannot be stored in front yards, except from April 30 to June 6 and September 1 to September 30. They may be stored in rear and side yards, respecting setback requirements.
