The park covers approximately 14 acres of mostly flat terrain, connected by a series of paths and trackways of varying surfaces. Some outdoor areas and trackways may present difficulties for those requiring certain mobility aids or wheelchairs. Some tracks have loose gravel, and surfaces in the Viking village can be slippery in wet weather. Certain areas of the Nature Trail are inaccessible in bad weather. Accessible toilets are available. Baby changing facilities are in the reception building. The Four Seasons building has stair and wheelchair lift access to the upper mezzanine. The Livestock Gallery and John Sawkill Building are on a single level.
