Newquay Family-Friendly Fall Activities 2026

The Esplanade Hotel offers a not-scary Halloween party for children this afternoon, with games, dancing, face painting, and glitter tattoos. A friendly Halloween character will be available for photos. Fancy dress is encouraged.

Halloweden at the Eden Project runs from October 24th to November 1st, 2026, with seasonal surprises and an ice rink.

At the historic Tolgus Tin Mill, visitors can become ghost hunters this Halloween. A ghost map guides participants to find six spectral figures, learn their stories, and receive a sticker and treat upon completion. Creative activities are available afterward.

The Trick or Treat Tram offers a 25-minute ride with pumpkins and ghouls. Grizelda the witch will be at Colyton for activities, and a goody bag will be provided.

Plymouth's city centre hosts The Halloween Trail throughout October. Families can find 15 spooky characters in shop windows and complete the trail for a chance to win one of three £50 Smyths vouchers. Free craft workshops are also available.
