Children aged 3 to 7 can dive into a world of sensory exploration at Mess Makers (Fall). Guided by Ms. Mo and NDC volunteers, young participants will engage with a variety of messy materials to create art and have fun. This program encourages child development through hands-on, messy play, with different themes offered each month.

- Parking: Please park in the parking lot at the north end of the park by the nature center building (entrance off Newcastle). If this lot is full, additional parking is available at the south end of the park in the lot off Evergreen Street, and on side streets in the neighborhood.
- Pets: No pets allowed (service animals welcome)

- Bring a refillable water bottle to stay hydrated during the program.
- An adult caregiver must stay with their child for the duration of the program.
- Advance registration is required, and program size is limited to 15 children.
- Check the weather forecast and dress children appropriately for outdoor activities, as the program is held under pavilions.

What are the registration, payment, cancellation, and refund policies?
Written notice is required at least 10 business days prior to the program start date for a 50% refund. No refunds are given for cancellations less than 10 days prior, unless due to a physician-verified medical emergency. Registrations are non-transferable.
Do parents or caregivers need to stay for the program?
Yes, an adult caregiver must stay with their child for the entire duration of the Mess Makers program.
Can I bring younger or older siblings?
You may bring siblings, but if they become disruptive, you may be asked to remove them. If siblings participate, there is a fee, even if they are outside the age range.
Where should I park?
Park in the lot at the north end of Russ Pitman Park off Newcastle Street. If full, additional parking is available at the south end off Evergreen Street or on side streets.
What happens if there is inclement weather?
Programs are held rain or shine. Refunds or credits are not given due to weather unless the Nature Discovery Center cancels the program for safety concerns.
