Tips & Advice

Arrive early, around 5:30 PM, to get into costume and be ready by 6:55 PM if you are volunteering as a scaring actor.
If volunteering as a group, consider signing up for both weekends to maximize the team-building and haunting experience.
Volunteers under 18 must have a parent or guardian sign a release form, so ensure this is completed in advance.
Be prepared for the haunt to continue past 11:00 PM if the line is still long; volunteers must stay until the line is completed.
Check the zoo's social media or website for any weather-related closure announcements, as they are open rain or shine unless safety is a concern.
