Parking

Parking is available at both buildings. Guests parking at the North Building may park both in the adjacent lot and across General Booth Boulevard in the East Lot. Guests parking at the South Building may park at the adjacent lot as well as the overflow lot just behind it across Ocean Breeze Parkway. The City of Virginia Beach charges a $5 daily parking fee per vehicle in Aquarium lots from April 1 through October 31. From November through March, parking is free. To pay from April through October, use one of the parking meters located in each lot. Aquarium Members enjoy FREE parking in all Aquarium lots, year-round.

Accessibility

Manual wheelchairs are available to borrow from Guest Services with a valid photo ID. Guests may also use their personal manual or motorized wheelchair in the buildings and on the Nature Trail. The boat dock and the Atlantic Explorer are only accessible to manual wheelchairs. The boat crew are happy to assist anyone needing to transfer from a motorized chair to a manual.
